Curly Scarves

The green and blue scarves use Lion Brand Homespun and Fun Fur yarns. The green one has a "curl" flattened out, the blue one shows how the scarf "drapes" into waves.

The third scan shows a scarf made with Caron Jewel Box and Moda Dea Kickx yarns.

Curly Scarves

With bulky/chunky yarn and large hook, double chain: Ch 2, sc in first ch, *ch 1, turn, sc in sc below*, repeat * to * for as long as you wish your scarf to be. (Use largest recommended hook for yarn, or one size larger).

Row 1: Ch 3, turn. (Dc, ch 1, dc, ch1) in each hole.

Row 2: Ch 3, turn. (dc, ch 1, dc, ch1) in each ch 1 space.

Repeat row 2 until your scarf is “wide enough”.

I’ve been using a yarn like Jewel Box or Homespun for the initial chain and 3 rows, then a row of (sc, ch 1, sc, ch 1) with an eyelash yarn in a coordinating color. After finishing, shake the scarf to fluff out the eyelashes.
